At the start of the year,
employees still used hand grinders on ordinary tables for grinding. Today,
these have been replaced by specialised exhaust tables and new grinders with
enhanced features.
Adjacent to them are platforms designed for more ergonomic pallet and forging
handling. Additionally, the work of grinders is facilitated by brighter
lighting.
“At the same time, we have established a rest area for employees where they can
dine and find space for relaxation and warming up,” states Ivana Kajanová from
the Environment and Occupational Safety Department.
According to her, the upcoming modifications will impact two workstations: the
inter-operational control centre and the workplace of inter-operational line
setters. “We already have a vision of how these workstations will appear
post-reconstruction. Adjustments will be made while operations continue, with
employees actively participating once more. We believe this will once again
lead to mutual satisfaction in the end,” Ivana Kajanová adds.
